WHEREAS, the economic development benefits in the
form of new manufacturing jobs...
WHEREAS, people living along Toll 69 will use alternate routes to avoid tolls and road closures, any possible safety increases that a Toll Road might offer will be offset by significant safety decreases resulting from greatly increased volumes of traffic, increased speeds, and increased time of exposure on our toll-free local roads
WHEREAS, the I-69 Toll Road on route 3C will
impede the driving time and access of the citizens
of Monroe County to hospitals and health care
facilities, schools, businesses, and government offices...
